SWEATING TREATMENT
The name for excessive sweating is “hyperhidrosis” in medicine. Hyperhidrosis patients sweat continuously regardless of temperature and this cannot be resolved with deodorant or other antiperspirants. Persistent sweating creates a big social problem. Patients experience this problem most often in the armpits, palms, and soles. Although Botox is popular with aesthetic applications, it also offers a solution for patients with sweating problems.
In normal, when the body temperature rises, the nervous system activates the sweat glands to cool down. However, in hyperhidrosis patients, these nerves that stimulate the sweat glands are more active than they should be. Botox solves the sweating problem by blocking these nerves.

Before Sweating Treatment
Before Botox is applied for sweating, the region with the problem is determined. It is most commonly applied to the armpits, palms, and soles. It is rarely applied on the face and scalp.
During Sweating Treatment
Botox for sweating can be performed in clinical conditions. There is usually no pain in armpits. Local anesthetic cream is applied to the palms and soles before the procedure. Blood thinners should not be taken before Botox. If the application will be performed in the armpit, shaving should not be done for the last 3 days before the procedure.
After Sweating Treatment
A check up appointment is given 2 weeks after the Botox. The effect period of armpit Botox is 6-14 months. The period is shorter on the palms and soles. The benefit is seen 7 days after the application of the sweating Botox. Following the sweating Botox, can be returned to the daily life, and there is no need for restricting the movement.
