TIPPLASTY
Tipplasty is an intervention made only on the tip of the nose without touching the back of the nose. It is performed by shaping the lower cartilages that form the tip of the nose.
Usually the aim is to lift or shorten the tip of the nose. The nose tip lift should be 95-100 degrees for women and 90-95 degrees for men.

Before Tipplasty
Patients considering tipplasty (nose tip lift) surgery should be thoroughly discussed in the pre-operative interviews that there will be no operation on the back of the nose.
The patient for whom the tipplasty is planned should have a smooth, arch-free and midline nose. If the back of the nose is not smooth, a complete rhinoplasty should be discussed.
During Tipplasty
Tipplasty (nose tip lift) surgery can be performed under general anesthesia or local anesthesia and sedation. As similar to the open and closed rhinoplasty, it can be performed with or without an incision in the columella.
After Tipplasty
After tipplasty, the patient can go home on the same day. 1-2 days of rest is sufficient. The tip of the nose may be edematous for about a week.
