MEDICAL AESTHETICS > FILLING APPLICATIONS
FACE AND NECK REJUVENATION
With aging, there is a decrease in both the soft tissue and bone support of the face. On the other hand, the skin becomes deformed by losing its elasticity and tone. As a result, an empty skin and sagging occur.
The aim of filling applications for antiaging purposes is to restore the lost tissue volume and to give the skin a younger looking with the hyaluronic acid contained in the fillers.

Before Face and Neck Rejuvenation
We roughly divide the face into three as anatomically: upper face, mid-face, and lower face. Each region is examined both within itself and in terms of its balance with each other. Deficiencies are revealed. The face of a young and attractive woman is an inverted triangle, whereas as she ages, it turns into a straight triangle because the face sags with the loss of tissue support and gravity.
This is the problem of most patients who come with the complaint of old-looking. However, the anatomy of each patient is different. A treatment is planned at the meeting with the physician.
During Face and Neck Rejuvenation
If filler is planned on an aging face, this may be to fill wrinkles or to compensate for volume loss in deeper tissues. The areas where the filler is frequently applied for the appearance of wrinkles and folds are forehead lines, nasolabial folds, and marionette lines.
The most frequently filled areas on the face to add volume are the temples, cheeks, cheekbones and jaw. Since the filler that are made to add volume will lift the skin and soft tissues, they reduce the agglomeration under these areas, and negative looking such as sagging, wrinkles, and folds, etc. disappear. A younger looking can be achieved on the upper face with filling the temples on the upper face, filling the cheekbones in the middle and lower face, and on the neck with filling the jaw.
Depending on the anatomy of the patient and the opinion of the physician, filling application can be planned to very different regions. Filling is a procedure that takes 15-45 minutes in doctor’s office conditions. In some regions, regardless of aging, filling is also performed to give shape. The most common examples are the lips, chin, and nose. In a group of patients who do not want to have nose surgery, it is possible to make minor interventions to the shape of the nose with fillers.
After Face and Neck Rejuvenation
Cold application after surgery is recommended. The permanence of the filling is between 6 months and 2 years. Additional doses can be added at the check up interviews after the filler is applied. Unfortunately, aging is not a process that can be stopped yet.
Fillers can’t stop aging either. However, according to the selected treatment, it can give the patient a 5-10 years younger looking.
