If we roughly summarize the anatomy of the female genital region, there are the outer lips (labia majora), between them the inner lips (labia minora), between them are the vagina and urethral orifice. The inner lips look as hairless pink-purple folds.

If these are larger or droopy than they should be, it can cause problems for patients. This creates both discomfort in looking and difficult and painful sexual intercourse. It is possible to reduce the large labia minora with surgery.

Before Inner Lip Aesthetics

During the pre-procedure examination of the patient who complains about the size of the inner lips of the genital region, the size of the problem and the amount of the tissue that should be removed are decided.

During Inner Lip Aesthetics

Labia minora aesthetics can be performed under local or general anesthesia according to the preference of the patient. The procedure lasts 15-30 minutes.

After Inner Lip Aesthetics

Patients recover quickly after labia minora surgery. Patients should pay maximum attention to their personal hygiene during the recovery period. This region should be kept clean and dry, particularly after the need for the toilet. Not much pain is expected after the procedure. About 3 weeks of sexual abstinence is recommended.
