PUBIS LIPOSUCTION
The hairy soft region between the groin and labia majora in women and the groin and penis in men is the “mons pubis”. The large size of this region makes patients uncomfortable. Women whose subcutaneous fatty tissue thickened feel uncomfortable in this region when wearing swimsuits, bikinis or tight pants.
In men, the fat in this region can cause the penis to appear relatively small and cause psychological discomfort.

Before Pubis Liposuction
Fat thickness is evaluated in the pubis region. Sometimes, the increase in tissue may be accompanied by sagging. Depending on the problem, liposuction or upward hanging of the pubis is planned for the patient.
During Pubis Liposuction
If only liposuction for the pubis is planned, the surgery can be performed under local anesthesia. In these patients, abdominoplasty is also planned, and while the abdomen is tightened downwards, the pubis is also hung upwards to provide a flatter mons pubis.
After Pubis Liposuction
After pubis liposuction, the patients recover quickly. A flatter mons pubis looking allows women to be more comfortable in tight-fitting clothing, while in men it gives the impression that the penis is relatively enlarged.
