Face lifting is a comprehensive surgery that is aimed at rejuvenating the aging face. There are many different methods, but the main goal is to lift the face. As the tissues age, their support decreases and they loosen. Gravity also releases loose tissue.
Our face has a layer SMAS beneath the skin that is formed by mimic muscles. In conventional face-lift, excessive skin is removed by hanging or shortening this SMAS. There are various modifications to face lift surgery.

Before Face Lift Aesthetics
The face of the patient is evaluated before face lift surgery. Excess tissue, skin quality, skin color, wrinkles and expectations of the patient are evaluated. The necessity of combined procedures is discussed. Blood thinners should be stopped seven days prior to surgery.
During Face Lift Aesthetics
Face lift is performed under general anesthesia. Incisions can be made around the ear and behind the ear, and sometimes intraoral or lower eyelids. Upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty, mid-face lift, face fat injection and neck lift can be combined. The surgery lasts 3-5 hours.
After Face Lift Aesthetics
Edema on the face is normal for 10 days after face lift surgery. Mild asymmetries on the face may be present in this period. As the edemas go by, asymmetries disappear. Patients return to their daily lives after approximately two weeks. Face lift is more permanent than non-surgical facial rejuvenation surgeries.
An average of 10 years of persistence can be prolonged through regular skin care, the use of sunscreen, regular sleep, healthy eating, and neurotoxin treatment.
